.hgt files not displayed

I loaded a couple of. hgt files and copied them to OM DEM directory. OI File Explorer shows me the data. When opening the folder over OM it's displayed as empty. Where's the fault?

Hi;

You do not have to see the files, if you are using the OruxMaps built-in file browser, because it is working in 'folder selection' mode. Only folders should be visible and selectable.

You will see if the .hgt are correct when you use 3d view.

Indeed the 3D-view works fine.

But probably I am not the only one, who didn't understand OM file manager. E. g. see, https://oruxmaps.forumotion.com/t2914-missing-files-in-dem-customwpts-and-sometimes-in-mapfiles-folders.

The confusing fact is the message "....empty". Why not instead "x files (in y folders)"? Would it be to complex?

The file/folder chooser is an external library, but I have changed it to get a more expected behavior-->www.oruxmaps.com/cs
