First: Thanks a lot for OruxMaps. Very good programm for following a route - but:
(1) I want no map. Just a white background => elevate the contrast
no offline and no online maps, just my route and my poi
there will be no problem with a map, there will be no problem by zoom.
you ca use this possibilty at any time and at any place.
You boost the performance and you will get along with smaller memory

(2) the possibilty to record a track depends speed, time, heading and distance. All four paraments connected by 'and' or/and 'or'.
Mostly i like the combination time '5 seconds' or heading '7°'. you will get a little file, but very good track. And in a turn the points are very close!
Certainly a software can manage the track after recoding, but you have to record always in fast time to get the turn or a crossing.

Expierence:
Tracking => very good Very Happy

Best Regards

Hi, there was a 'no map' option with white background in old versions. But I removed it Shocked

About 2º; I do not understand speed and heading criteria, please, explain them.

Please reload this option!

speed and heading criteria
I've got a notation, that a track recorded by time (e.g.: 7 seconds) or by heading (7 degrees) are wonderful.
If you are on a straight line the recorded points are stretched.
If a turn or a road junction is on the way the recorded points are compressed.
Therefore it is an accurate track file:
Less points on a straight line and many points in a turn.

PS (27.07.)
Speed: Sometimes it make sense, if the recordind stops below e.g. 10 km/h or 5 km/h.
Therefore it is necessary to limit the record according to speed.
Which adjustment is necessary to record every e.g. 2 seconds or 10 seconds, independent from distance?
'third wish'
I can only load a waypoint file below 100 waypoints. Please expand the capacity.
