Distorted Segments

Hi Orux,

I converted a .png map with 14'000 by 14'400 pixels with OruxMapsConverter2.

The converter made 28x28 segments with 512x512 pixels. With these resolutions the lowest and the right part of the original map should result in partially filled 512x512 segments.

The picteres from the bottom (mapxx_27_xx) are distorted, that means, stretched to 512 pixels and the most right segments (mapxx_xx_28) are all empty ...

So there is a problem, if mapsize is not a multiple of 512, e.g. 14'000 or 14'400

I'll try to add a segment:

When did you downloaded OruxMapsConverter2.jar?

The last version (update 19-08-09) should solve this problem. It works fine for me with no x512 image size.

PD: Could you send me to oruxuro@gmail.com an Ozi .map file with ch1903 datum?

I downloaded the file yesterday, I'm very new to OruxMaps, and it is definitely version 2 ...

This problem I've seen with all my maps, 7000x4800 as well as with 14000x14400 ...
I did the conversion manually with the the conversion on the NAVREF page, I did not use the ozi tab in the OruxMapsConverter ...

I will send you later a .map file from OZI created with Oziexplorer on the PC with the swiss datum.

I just upload a new version of OruxMapsConverter2 that fixes the problem completely. You can download it now.
