Including barometeric measurements in the heights Empty Including barometeric measurements in the heights

Hi

Oruxmaps is the best GPS program ever! It is far better than OziExplorer, which I have been using for years.
Now I am concidering buying a Sony Erichson Xperia Active which is waterproof AND have a Altimeter (barometric heightmeasure) built in.
So it would be very nice if OruxMaps could take advantage of the the heigtmeasures done by the altimeter.
It would make the profiles of tracks more readable and more accurate.
The way I think it could be implementated was that the height in the tracks (and shown on the display) was taken for the Altimeter, And the altimeter was calibrated periodical from the GPS height. Then the good absolutte values of GPS heights would be imposed on the Altimeters good minute by minute relative height differences.

If needed I can come up with a matematical description on how to do this Very Happy

Hi, Erik;

It is a good idea.

Waiting for nexus prime; I would add support to the barometer.
