sort gpx-files into folders

I have a lot of gpx-Files in the "tracks" folder and it`s very uncomfortable to find the right one under this big amount of files.
It would be fine to sort this files in folders.
Maybe it`s possible to find it in one of your next releases ...

But you can put your gpx/kml into folders, and load them without problems if you have OI File Manager installed.

Please, i will not install a special filemanager for this one feature in Oruxmaps.
I think each user prefer an other filemanager.
Without a special filemanager OruxMaps shows only the gpx-files in the "tracks" directory, but not folders ;-(
Maybe it can be fixed easy?

OI File Manager is a lightweight file manager.

It makes no sense that each application has to build its own file manager. The problem is that file managers do not want to share the same Intents.

Exactly how would an external file manager help inside of Oruxmaps? Sure it´s usefull outside of Orux, but if you have a lot of tracks inside the problem will still be the same.
Folders would be great! Also if Orux would remember which order you sort things. I have a problem finding things fast, since I have to sort things alphabetacily then search through a long list.
Mine sorts by creation date by default.

Especially i can not accept to install a special file-explorer (i don`t like oi) - with other file explorers this doesn`t work

I have the same problem because many tracks, it is not always practical to move the source directory.
It is not necessary to implement an advanced file manager. Management by files already exists for the maps, it should not be too difficult to do the same for tracks, nothing more.

Yes, you are right - with maps the internal filemanager works fine with folders. So I don`t understand why it should not possible with the tracks

Sorry, but it doesn`t work yet in Version .63
Have gone back to .61
If I do "open file" and have sorted the gpx-files in folders under the TRACKS-directory oruxmaps will not show the directories ;-(

or do I something wrong?
