Problem with vector map file

Hi,

not sure if this is a bug or limitation of my device: downloaded 2 vector maps,

http://download.mapsforge.org/maps/europe/germany/bayern.map

The cyprus.map works fine, the bayern.map does not even appear in the index - it is
in the same directory and I have done refresh sources. It does not display any
kind of message so I have no clue how to debug.

What could be the problem? One thing that comes into my mind is that my device
has fairly little memory, the whole bayern.map would never fit into RAM.

possibly this was an issue with a interrupted/resumed download, will need to download again to confirm. Just wondering, if the file were broken somewhere in the middle would there be any kind of error message or would the map be simply missing as in my case?

whatever the original problem was it is now working fine, did not change anything just downloaded the file again.
