GPS smoothing Empty GPS smoothing

I love the application. There is nevertheless one thing that bothers me (a bit): as a result of variations in the GPS reception, the plotted track quickly becomes inaccurate. OruxMaps seems to plot every GPS sample on the map (as long as the sample meets the criteria defined in the settings). While individual GPS samples always vary a bit, you quickly end up in a situation in which 'it seems as if you jumped back and forward on the map'. As a result the travelled distance also is sometimes inaccurate (especially when the GPS accuracy is worse than 15 meters) .
I notice that my Garmin GPS watch is able to plot a more stable track (under similar conditions). I believe Garmin plots a new location after taking multiple GPS samples. I think it plots a location based on the 'average' of those GPS samples. Little GPS errors therefore are naturalized.
This works very well when hiking or biking. Would something like this be possible for OruxMaps?
