API to call OruxMaps
Hi Orux,
I use CacheSense for geocaching ... and OruxMaps for hiking.
Within the newest Beta CacheSense offers a new feature: Call an extern program with the coordinates of a cache.
I tried to call OruxMaps (which is offered in the dialog box) and OruxMaps is opened ... but the arriving coordinates are corrupt.
I asked the developer of CS and he said that he is using the following method (and normaly that should work):
"It is using a standard Intent:
CODE: SELECT ALL
android.content.Intent.ACTION_VIEW
with this URI:
CODE: SELECT ALL
geo:-42.854767,173.306733?z=16
There is some documentation here: http://developer.android.com/guide/appendix/g-app-intents.html "
Any idea?
Would be cool to have both apps so near together ...
