Relocate user interface tab for dashboard
I tried v5.2.0 Donate today using ANT+ sensors. I had problems when I wanted to bring up the screen to see the dashboard as the tab which opens it is very close to the return button on the bottom of my Samsung Galaxy II screen. In trying to press the dashboard tab when riding my bike I frequently pressed the return button on my phone. Bouncing around while peddling the phone sensed that I had pushed it twice, thus closing the program. This also appeared to turn off the Ant+ sensors as they stopped tracking. I have to go back and hit start Ant+ to get them to work again. This is very frustrating as it was a constant problem! To solve this problem I suggest you move the dashboard tab to a new location or instead, allow the user to swipe the screen so it switches to the dashboard. Either way it is a necessary improvement.
Thanks for your consideration of the above.

Re: Relocate user interface tab for dashboard
Using a small phone and thinking of the range of phones out there and their myriad of screen sizes, I can imagine that this comes with some difficulties. However, I support the point you make for ANT+ to stop when temporarily leaving the app. I recently was cycling and so clowds that indicated a rainshower. I wasn't sure if it was, but would it have been, I would have changed my way. So I quickly left the app, opened a weather app and checked the radar. Similarly, one might want to take a picture. Unfortunately, when I restarted ANT+, Oruxmaps didn't even recognize again both sensors (only heart rate, no the speed/cadence). Therefore it would be an awesome improvement on the side of the ANT+ issues if ANT+ would run through when someone leaves the App. I think most would already be satisfied with a little pop-up asking for continued ANT+ when purposefully or accidentally leaving the app.

Re: Relocate user interface tab for dashboard
thanks for the comment. the galaxy II has one of the largest screen for a smart phone. why not allow the screen to be swiped to go to the dashboard?

Re: Relocate user interface tab for dashboard
Guess it might interfer with moving and pinch-zooming/turning the map.
