maps on extsd
Is it possible to place my offline maps on the extsd card?
On the sd card isn't very much room and my extsd card has more then 25 Gig left.
Thank you.

Same Problem: Maps on external SD
Hi, I seem to have a similar problem.
In SETTINGS I try to change the path for (offline) Maps.
I can select the appropriate folder (for example "...storage\extSdCard\Mapas"):
But when leaving the setting (pressing "back" bottom right) the path remains unchanged.
Resetting Map Sources doesnt help as the path still points to the internal storage not external SD.
I tried with v.5.2.3 and v.5.2.1, same results.
Using the internal storage ORUXMAPS works perfect on my Note 2 But internal storage is approaching limits....
What's wrong??
Thanks / regards Fernando

Re: maps on extsd
don't press the back button, double click (fast) on the directory you want to use

Re: maps on extsd
I can confirm that the solution which fabrylama suggests works if you use OI filemanager. I'm not shure if it also works with standard files manager of android.

Re: maps on extsd
Thanks from me too. Now I can change the folder again to organise my data per country.
The way you have to select the folder and save the new path was not clear for me. The problem is that you must dubbelclick in the vertical filelist while you intuitively think you have to build the path in the toprow and dubbelclick there.
I love Oruxmaps and use it for more than 3 years whith great pleasure. Thanks for your good work.
