Problem with ORUX tracks

I have a problem with ORUX tracks. Whenever I use ORUX , I get breaks every few minutes in the track. The image attached shows a typical result. I presume this is due to something in my setup. All help is appreciated.

Hopefully, the attached image shows what I mean. Unfortunately, I cannot figure out how to load an image to this message.

If someone can tell me how to attach an image or a file, I will upload an image and/or the gpx file.

settings--tracks/routes:
-->autosegment distance: set to zero
-->autosegment time: set to zero
