rebuild database all the time

not a big problem, only better if possible to solve it:

i have added 3 new maps, they work without problems.
the only thing is that every time i go (back) in homepage, he says he's generating maps db (for 1 second or less).
sometimes also that db is not updated.

suggestions?

Sorry for this late answer!!

This can happen when there is a bad map/directory in /mapfiles/ directory. Check if you have a map that does not work, or an empty directory,...

maybe the long name, i'll try to rebuild them

I also ahve this issue each time I enter into the main homepage... And because I converted about 300 OZI maps that I cannot merge, it take me about 20-30 seconds ecah time in that menu. A little painefull...
Any solution to re-scan the map folder (rebuild database) if nothing has changed ?

Hi.

I do not know a good algorithm for this search.

Suggestions :
--the maps are sorted by name, compare oruxmaps maps list and directories in mapfiles folder, looking
for no matches.
--put your maps in folders (10 folders, for example) then change maps folder in configuration--application looking for continuous db updates.
