When I install the new Beta it tells me that it is
Version 5.2.4
Did I do something wrong?

I don't understand "widget with basic functions".
How can I see that widget?

(beta9) drag & drop waypoints, with a long press over the waypoint.
(beta9) widget with basic functions (start/stop recording, continue recording, create wpt, time recording and distance).

Hi, Uli;

a widget is a shortcut that you can put in your home desktop (like a clock,...). Normally with a long press over the desktop you can add widgets.
