Route and Track grafic statistics (altitude by distance) in parallel

Hello,

I often download gpx files and follow them with oruxmaps (especially being away from home). Most of the times I do not start the tour where the original gpx track starts.

Following feature I would really like:
Assuming I have downloaded a gpx tour for cycling with 40km. I start at a different point than the original gpx file. After cycling 20km I would like to see how many hills are still upcoming. Thus I would like to review the grafic statistic (altitude by distance) from the original gpx tour (route) and my current track IN PARALLEL. The altitude line of the route is e.g. colour red and the current track is e.g. blue shown in one screen. Hence I could see where I am and how many hills I have to manage...

I hope you understand what I am trying to explain.

Hi;

you can see your position over the profile of the route if:

1.-you are following that route.
2.-display the lateral dashboard, with the altitude profile of the route.

then you should see your position (gps enabled, recording the track,..) as a green point in the route profile.
