Oruxmaps 5.5.3
I created a map from google maps, about 6 zoom levels, about 13000 tiles, 200MB, said 2 tiles missing.
Restart doesn't seem to get these two, but all the rest are reported downloaded.
Yet, scrolling, many areas are blank, missing tiles? DB corruption?

Is there any way to examine a map like this with a desktop tool to see what's going on?
MOBAC doesn't use google maps so I can't create it there, but it this tool a better way to create maps?
Am I creating too large maps? Is 13000 tiles "too many" for oruxmaps?

What version of Oruxmaps is most stable? And where do you get specific versions? Play just has 5.5.3 now.

Oruxmaps is really neat and amazing but the learning curve is getting very steep!

I think I see something...

The area to create selection was covered by the top level zoom level (most zoomed out) but at higher zoom levels, it's like only the edge tiles of the next higher level got downloaded in some of the corners. So the area at most detail shrinks here.

Perhaps I did my area selection wrong, now I'm unsure. I also understand how the top-level zoom would include a larger area than selected. Like if you include the level 0 zoom (all the way out), it would grow to include a tiny image with almost the entire earth (or half or whatever). But I'd expect the most detail level present over the entire selected area.

The obvious easy workaround is just to select a bigger area.

Amazing program. I'm seriously considering donating.
