error computing total uphill/downhill

Hi everyone,
this is a great gps tracking app, the best i've tried so far, but i noticed that the total amount of uphill/downhill at the end of a trail is always incorrect....could you please give me more details about that? Does it depend on the filtered values?

Hi;

it is difficult to get a good filter. The gps have errors by providing elevation. It is better if you use DEM files and you select in settings-gps to take the elevation from DEM files.
