Not have to stop recording while leaving app to make a photo or phonecall

Hi, I made trips in Egypt with OruxMaps and could see my position, thanks to Orux on my Galaxy S and preloaded maps.
Super! Also recording tracks was succesfull so now I'm home again I can see exactely where I was at what time.
What's not so nice is when you want to use your phone for other purposes while recording a track. You have to stop recording, leave the app, make for instance a photo, start Orux again and record a new track.

The improvement I suggest is the possibility to leave the app while it's running in the background, like the musicplayer that is always accessible in the top of the screen. So you can use your phone for other purposes while recording continues. Especially the camarafunction of my phone must be ready with one fingerclick.

This function is already there. If you are actually recording a track, you should see an icon in the statusbar (upper line) of the phone's screen. Are you sure that this happens during tracklogging, and not when you are just viewing a map?

Indeed I can see the icon+message on the top of the screen when recording a track when I go to functions like settings etc.
When I want to leave the app (because I want to do other things with my phone) I get "You must disable Track logging Mode before closing the application".
This is wat I mean: I want to do other things with my phone without disable Track logging.

No if you use 'home' button. Then you can use any application.

If you use 'back' button you are telling OruxMaps that you want to leave OruxMaps!

Thank you. Indeed, that's nice. I never got the idea to use this butten that I only use to get the phone out of screensaving-mode.
Didn't know it's called 'home button'
Maybe a little text about this possibility in the manual?
