Offset error With Crete Hiking Maps Empty Offset error With Crete Hiking Maps

Hello

I have just started using OruxMaps for Android - the online mapping and offline caching is fantastic.

I have a problem when trying to use scanned GPS compatible maps of Crete (Google Earth not too good for reading the terrain). No matter what I try with Orux Desktop my input data points are offset by about 500 meters (North and East on a 5km by 7km map) when loaded onto the phone, this is also confirmed by loading a track from "Wikiloc" it is displaced relative to the footpaths shown on the map.

I am using x, y data from reading the cursor position in the image in "Photoshop", is this correct? I note the otrk file gives "MapDimensions height="3501" width="2550"" for layerlevel 16' ; but "photoshop" sees the image as 2963 by 2159 pixels.

I could email the image and otrk file if anyone would be willing to offer some advice on this.

Many thanks
John
