USGS TOPO availability? for offline use
USGS TOPO availability? for offline use
Is there a way of creating a good quality USGS TOPO layer? I am using mobile atlas creator 1.8and the "Terraserver-USA MAP (USA only)" map source is very spotty with missing tiles making it unusable. The location I am looking for is relatively small (about 1 square mile) but highly detailed terrain so Google terrain is not ideal because of the limited zoom level at a max of 15.
Is there another way to get a topo map into Orux for offline use?
Thank you.

1.9 is out and has MyTopo, which are MUCH better and cleaner looking too!
Just looked at the site and beta 2 is out with ONLY OSM maps. You'll need 1.9 beta 1 which I have in my public DropBox folder:
