import google direction to orux route

Hi,

I have just switched from Windows mobile phone to an android phone (Galaxy SII) and have been searching for a GPS program to replace the one that I have been using on Windows mobile platform. I found the Oruxmaps and after trying it out for 2 days, this seemed to be the best Android GPS program. Great work!!!

I have 2 issues that I need help with

1) the GPS track have been jumping around much more than my previous phone and makes it difficult to be used for navigation. While I have been following the route, according to the program, I went off route 2 times, the same waypoint have been sounded out 3 times as my location jumps around +/- 200m and sometimes more which is causing this problem. Is there any way to improve the accuracy of the GPS location ? I have also tried RMaps on the same phone and same route and apparently the location sometimes is off a bit but tends to be much less jumpy. So I suspect its not a hardware issue.

2) I have exported a google map direction into a GPX file and imported it into Oruxmaps as a route but nothing shows up on the map. Have I done something wrong or is the GPX format incorrect ?
