Hi,

Adding external GPS support would be an awesome feature. I have a Sirf Star III based unit which works MUCH better than phone's built-in one. Trekbuddy developer succeeded in implementing support for external units in Android 2.1. Maybe he would like to support and help if needed?
Still, Orux is my choice.

Absolutely need bluetooth GPS support, there are 2 reasons:

1: Bluetooth GPS always has much more stronger signal than the internal one.
2: Bluetooth GPS always use a battery itself which can really reduce the power use of the andriod device.
