Tracking - Best practice

Hi,
I want to use the traking function in orux maps, but I'm a bit worried about the battery usage on my mobile if I keep the gps always on.

in the setting I saw you can set the frequency of the segment depending time, distance and no movement.

in your experience what should I set for:

autosegment time
autosegment distance
autosegment no movement

I will be move mainly by foot, so not so fast.

Hi, do not change those settings, if you are worry about battery.

You have to play with 'GPS settings--minimum time'. the higher the value, the battery will save.

I find defaults to loose. They are ok if you just have to see where you are, but if you are recording track, it should be set to more frequent measurements.
