Height difference / Altitude announcement

Hi Orux,
I'm just using OruxMaps in my holidays in Austria and it's really cool to use for hiking. 
Normaly I use the route announcement (set to 1 km) to get a feeling of distance ... but during my tours in the alps I didn't hear the announcement often because in most times it goes straight up ... and then 1 km could be a long time to be reached.  

It would be nice to have (beside the distance announcement) a height difference announcement ...

some routes later ...  
Maybe it's even better to report the altitude when crossing an altitude line (in 100 or 50m steps / or customizable) instead of an altitude difference.
Because while hiking to the top of the hill it goes (normaly) up and down and then the absolut altitude would be better during walking.
