ozi to orux

Hi ORUX!

This looks like a very intresting app for me.

I got a question for you because i have a problem.

I use Ozi calibrated swedish maps with datum: RT90 (which i see oruxmaps supports). The projection on the maps are swedish grid, and i can´t find that projection in oruxmapsdesktop..
Is there a way for me to convert theese maps to orux?

It is a Transverse Mercator projection, with this parameters:

Type of projection Transverse Mercator
Central meridian 15.808277778 E of Greenwich
Latitude of origin 0°
Scale on the central meridian 1.0
False Northing 0 m
False Easting 1500000 m

Hello Orux.

I´ve now put in the parameters given by you. And created a map based on that. Copied it to the Android phone and started Oruxmaps.
And yes! I get a fix on the exact location on the map! I´m so glad!
I haven´t been able to travel to see if the map is correct in "all four corners" but I will do that as fast as i can.
How could did you know which parameters to use? Did you read it from the *.map file in some way?

Can you tell me if I can use the same parameters for the following map?:

Yes; the parameters are the same for all Swedish Grid maps; the info about this projection --> searching 'Swedish Grid'

Thank you so much!

One more question:

The cursor that shows where I am on the map, is either a round half transperent blue circle, or a big green arrow.
When I use it for marine navigation, the blue circle is very hard to se against the backround (blue water). And the arrow feels to big.
Is there a way to get like a RED haircross instead?
