MapMyTracks events support?

Is there a way to join a MapMyTracks event?

I can turn live tracking on no problem but i cannot find the feature to join a specific event.

No;

It is not possible. There is no API calls for that.

Hi and first of all thanks for a great app!

Not sure if this is what we all need, but noted on MapMyTracks API page (http://www.mapmytracks.com/about/api) there are optional parameter called "TAGS" on start activity service.

Maybe API was updated since last post here and OruxMap's could include TAGS option once starting live recording for event. Pls.... :-)

not sure if they are related to events, the example:

request = start_activity
title = My activity
tags = training, whitstable


But you can ask MapMyTracks forum

If yes, no problem in adding them to Oruxmaps.

Have checked with MapMyTracks and yes, tags is not equal to events code, but still would be useful to have for many users.

From MapMyTracks forum:

Tags can be used to group activities together on a hub but they will not work for events or replays of event.

It’s worth mentioning that Hub will show and follow live users so if there is a group of users that have all tagged their activities the same they will all appear on a hub and it will update every minute to show where they are.

Just found this topic. I would also be interested in tags on mapmytracks interface This way will be possible to use hubs feature of mapmytracks.
