Bug : navigate waypoints Empty Bug : navigate waypoints

Post  jjdrums Mon Aug 01, 2011 12:08 pm

Here is the problem (I use Orux to do plane navigation) :
- I load a set of waypoints from a KML file
- I load the route from the same KML file
- I select "Navigate waypoints" in the route menu
- I select "start recording track"

Problem : In the lower dashboard, the waypoint that appears is not the next one but the one after. It seems that when the distance to the next waypoint is below a certain value, it selects automatically the one after.
The problem is that this distance is much too big and the switch to the next waypoint happens when you are far away from the waypoint you are heading to.

For example, the selection of the waypoint 3 should happen when you are above waypoint 2, or very close to.

Is it possible to set the "switch waypoint" distance somehow.

Thanks Mr Orux for your help.

Hi,

yes; it is the value you can find in settings--wpts--alarm distance.

Thanks Orux for the reply; I suggest that you put this in the documentation because it is not obvious that "alarm" also means "switch waypoint".

Thanks again.
