long press on buttons in the button bar

i just found out, that long pressing (some) buttons in the button bar has a separate functionality. good feature! here's a few suggestions to make it even more useful:

PLUS/MINUS buttons (map zooming): instead of zooming five steps, long press should zoom to the maximum/minimum level supported by the current map (at 100%).

NEW MAP HERE BUTTON: long press should call the global map selector dialog.
