file handler for map file endings

i just found out that i can click on a gpx file in "file expert" and open it with oruxmaps for immediate display. very nice.
can this also be added for the supported map file types? like clicking on "xxx.map" or "xxx.rmap" (or even "OruxMapImages.db") should launch oruxmaps and switch to the selected map immediately.
