No GPS fix on HTC Desire

I'm having difficulty getting Oruxmaps to get a GPS lock - the app seemingly fails to engage the GPS in any way. Google Maps gets a lock no problem when it is running simultaneously - so the phone certainly knows where it is. Using the GPS Status tool also shows the GPS working fine. When I zoom in Oruxmaps to where I am, there is no location marker. I have had a lock before, so I cannot figure out what is wrong. It seems to have stopped since the last update.

I should add that the location button (between the zoom buttons) is completely unresponsive.

Very grateful for assistance. It is an awesome app aside from this problem.

Hi,

The button between zoom buttons is for reseting zoom to 100% (if using digital zoom).

You have to turn on the gps using 'start gps' or 'start rec.' -->under left-top menu entry.

Cheers for clearing that up. Functiona buenno otra vez. I must've used that setting when I first loaded up the app and forgotten about it..
