How to use "layer" fuction

Hi oruxmap:
Now , I use 4.8.1 version, and find the "tool"- "layer" function.
Would you mind explain how to set&use it.

Is it weather below example :
create 2 diferent maps ,A map & B map, first , I open A map, then , use the "layer" function, B map will cover A map,
we can see the 2 map in the same time?

No, 'layars' is an external tool--> http://www.layar.com/download/android/

OruxMaps is still not ready for 'multilayer' maps.
