TTS: more options?

I think TTS function is great but should be more flexible & customizable.

It would be great if we could select more than the distance, other parameters for unit in TTS like elevation gain or elapsed time.
For running & bike distance is the perfect measure base, but for trekking/climbing the elevation gain is more important.
Being able to set the TTS to speak every 30 minutes or every 300m (elevation) gained would make this app perfect!
