Error Geocoding!

It is only me, or geocoding broke lately?
I keep getting "error geocoding!" for ANY query I do, even the simplest in the world, as "New York" or "Milan".

If it's only me, how can I please debug this? Thanks so much!

I'm sorry I cannot really help, then, because I just had to update.

Everyting I could think about is that it could be a network problem. Are you using some odd DNS? Are you (sorry for the silly question) connected to the internet?
Geocoding does not use a built-in internal database (althought it would be crazy cool), it get informations from a remote system (owned by google as far as I know).

I experience the same problem. Since I can use online maps, it's definitely not a network problem. On every geocoding lookup, I get an error message. The problem did not occur with earlier versions of ORUX maps (although I cannot say which one was the last working version).

May be a problem with the language?

give me some no working text and your device locale.

Phone = Nexus S, stock rom 4.1.2
Language = German (in ORUX Maps the language is "--", which presumably means to use the system language)
String = Wien or Vienna

I do not know where is the problem, I can do those searchs.
