Oruxmaps and Endomondo

There is another workout server called www.endomondo.com
To get my oruxmaps data to that server, I have to transfer the
data from my mobile device (HTC DHD) to my desktop and then
import data from the Endomondo program into their server.
If I want life-tracking I have to run both programs (Oruxmaps and Endomondo)
parallel on my mobile device.
Is there an easier way to do the trick?
E.g. if I am on a biketour I can't upload a tour to Endomondo without the help
of a desktop.

Hi, Uli;

endomondo does not provides an API to allow other applications to upload files to their site; Iḿ afraid that you have to do that with their app, or using the web interface,

Hi Uli,

I generally run both programs as well when I want my tracks to be displayed on both GPSies and Endomondo. Do you have any statistic on how much Endomondo affects the battery life if run in parallel with Oruxmaps? I mean, how many hours with Oruxmaps running alone and how many with both?

I don't think it is a lot more, but it is just a feeling.
It is just a data packet of a few bites which is transfered to
both. I use an additional battery to supply my DHD on longer bike tours.
They might have 2,5 Ah and last for 8-10h bike tours.
The DHD battery will last for 1-2h only with every thing activated like
screen, gps, gprs, bluetooth and oruxmaps.

I would be easier to upload the gpx file to endomondo directly from the smartphone, without the need of a computer. I exported a track in gpx format, logged to Endomondo with the browsers I had and tried to upload the workout, but it failed. I tried with android browser, Opera Mobile and Dolphin, all of them failed. I wonder if another browser works. Maybe Firefox? Anybody tried?
