AIS-option in Oruxmaps 5.5.3

Hi,
Recently I discovered Oruxmaps. I want to use it as a navigation-aide on my boat.
Version 5.5.3 has the option to receive AIS-signals by WIFI.
I tried this -my AIS-transponder can send over WIFI- but to no avail.
Is there a howto (settings, IP-adress, portnumber?).
I think Oruxmaps is a great app.
I hope somebody can help me here.
