How to convert png+map to orus in oruxmapsdesktop

Hello,

I have got PNG file and MAP file from oziexplorer. I would like convert it to orux with Oruxmapsdesktop. So I load map and png file then i press create map. after few minutes of working i get error message An error occurred while generating images.
How to set up Oruxmapsdesktop correctly??

How large is the png image (pixels)?

Are you trying to create a multilayer map? Try only with 1/2 layers. If the image is very large, perhaps you have an 'out of memory' problem. Try changing the jvm memory parameter:
Edit OruxMapsDesktop.sh or .bat, replace -Xmx512m with -Xmx1024m
