How does track logging calculate distance in slopes?
How does track logging calculate distance in slopes?
Just interested:
Is the measured distance is the actual distance I traveled, including slopes calculation using Pithagorean theorem (or a similar method), by taking into account the height changes?
Or is it just an aerial projection of the path?
Thanks!

Hi;
OruxMaps uses android Location.distanceTo() method. It is a reduced distance; does not use height changes.
