size limit ?

Hi

i still test and use beta oruxmap and this application is very good

On the other hand i try to use external SD with ext4 file system, because i want to use great size maps
I arrive to do that and when i want to load it with oruxmap i got an error message
problem with some maps :
/mnt/sdcard/external_sd ..... france_nord_est_25.otrk2.xml

is because my xml file is corrupted or you put a size limit ?

my map is 5.6 Go

When do you see the error message, when using 'restart maps source' or when you try to open the map?

I doesn't see this map on the menu after and so i can't choice it

It is strange, because OruxMaps does not tries to read the database file till you try to open the map.

I have created a map, with your xml, and an empty database file. I see it in the map list, even I can open it, but I do not see images, of course,

Try this:

I suppose your files are inside a folder: france_nord_est_25

1.-rename the map folder to france_nord_est_25_backup
2.-create a new folder france_nord_est_25, copy inside the xml file (not the .db file)
3.-open OruxMaps again, reset map sources.

Can you see the map?

Now i don't have error message but the image is white without any details ?

I suspect a map corrupts during download. so i download again db file

now when i select this map i got an error message "impossible d'ouvrir la carte essayer de ré initialiser lescartes dans le menu"

" can't open map try to reset maps into the menu"

i change rights fot this file (444 ) now the error message disapear but again i got a screen with blank square et nothing more ?

no, there is no limit with OruxMaps.
