GPS menu: alert 1st gps fix Empty GPS menu: alert 1st gps fix

Hi,
I do not understand the two menu points:
"Alert 1st GPS fix" and "For alert 1st fix":

If I choose the first entry I never hear a signal tone, if I choose both the smartphone rings until I open the screen.
