Google Maps KML not loading in Oruxmaps

Hello there. I created a KML file in googlemaps and put it in the tracklog folder in Orux. It sees it fine, but when I load it, there is no track shown. It works fine with a KML I downloaded from online. Also, the googlemaps KML is only 1KB, which is unbelievably tiny. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Figured it out myself. I'll leave it up in case anyone makes the same silly move. Don't click the KML icon as that is just the link - the text next to it is a link to the KML file itself. Hope this helps if anyone has the same problem.

Hi,

Open the kml with a text editor (notepad, word,...)

Inside you will find a link to the true kml. Open the link with your web browser, download the kml.

ignore

1.get directions from google maps on main site and edit at will
2.click the link button
3.copy and paste long url
4.add &output=kml to end and enter into browser
5.download kml
6.go to my maps in google maps and create a map
7.import the kml above and save map
8.now load this map and click the kml link
9.download kml
10.save to orux maps tracklogs folder
11.go into oruxmaps and click the routes button , then add and select the kml and load
voila!
