Oruxmaps closed in background

Hi!
I have been using Oruxmaps for a long time. It is a great program. I bought a new Galaxy S3 (4.0.4), and I have a problem. I connect a bluetooth GPS and start track logging. It is working fine for a time, but when I switch to another application and send Oruxmaps to background on the notification track logging appears. Then I send my phone to sleep. About an hour later I check the phone, track logging is still active but android closed Oruxmaps, then I start the program again, it shows that restoring track. After that point the external GPS does not work anymore. I have to turn it off and on, then connect to Bluetooth. Is it normal? Is there a way to keep oruxmap in memory while tracking is on?
