Tiles Google earth missing

Hello,
i am trying already for a while to get a map of google earth (some island of greece). But it get's stuck after 10000/20000 tiles so half isn't downloaded. I tried many time to continue the download but it's always stuck at the same place. Also when i tried other options like "continue when tiles are missing", i end up with a map that is far from complete. Funny thing is that the tiles are there because one can see them in online mode and also on google earth in a browser. So i wonder why it keeps getting stuck? Anyway it's still an amazing application and i love to prepare google maps if i go somewhere. It's actually the first time i have an issue.

Tried that already the new mobac doesn't support Google Earth and with the version 1.8.1 there are even more tiles missing.
So guess that's not the answer. But thanks anyway for the reply

edit: Tried it also with all version of oruxmaps and none of them get the tiles visible.
