wrong position on offline maps

hi
I am using an htc flyer with 3.2.1
and on all the maps downloaded from google hybrid,google maps,google earth,the maps are off by 400 to 800 meters
however when I start using the 3g netwowrk online I get the right position,
pls help,as i threw away all my Garmin GPS's in favour of orux

as a matter of fact the error is about 11 kms

How do you build or calibrate the maps?

hi,problem solved,I found out the problem.
It occurs when the downloading of the map is interrupted and then resumed later on.
every time it happens,the maps gets out of calibration.
I download through the map creator .
however i would also like to know the following:
how can I download larger than 500 megabytes maps?
can we have a larger compass on one of the corners ?
also the gps status doesn't work in the horizontal plane

I will check that bug,

You can download larger maps using MOBAC. Unfortunately OruxMaps is not ready for that kind of work.
