offline maps in oruxmaps 5.0.0

Hi,

I cannot change the folder path for offline maps, set by default to /mnt/external_sd/

Problem is I dont have an external sdcard, my maps are on /storage/sdcard0/oruxmaps/mapfiles/

It worked fine this way with the previous version.

Am I missing something??

More information as it seems to be a real issue rather than something I missed :

I don't have any problems on my phone (Wiko cink slim android 4.0.4) which has an external sdcard with the offline maps on it.

I have the problem on my Acer iconia tab 510 tablet, no external sdcard (and android 4.1, but I don't think it matters) where the maps are on the internal memory.

It looks like oruxmaps needs an external sdcard, can you confirm??

Or maybe I can change the default path in some configuration file?

No; OruxMaps does not need an external sd.

Check that the path is correct-->settings--maps--maps directory.

Ok, here is what I've done so far and the results :

The default path for offline cards was (when I upgrated to 5.0.0) /mnt/external_sd/

As I don't have an external sdcard, it points to nowhere, and I cannot change it in settings-maps-map directory : there isn't any path shown here and nothing can be set or changed as far as I can see.

Now if I put a sdcard in the slot, even an empty one, the path appears in settings-maps-map directory and it can be edited to point to the internal memory. It then works ok even with the external sdcard removed.

Hope this helps understanding the issue!

In any case, everything seems fine since I've found this workaround.
