offline maps disappear with Zoom
When I open the offline maps, created with OruxmapsDesktop or OkMap, look very good on the screen of my tablet. However when I zoom, the program immediately sends me to the map offline by default, which is World. I ask you if you need to do some settings to avoid this.

Hi;
check your settings--maps--zoom settings--autoload with zoom
delete the world map folder; it is a demo map,

Re: offline maps disappear with Zoom
Ok, thank you very much. A second question.
Can I delete the maps directly from the program (I use a tablet) or necessarily I have to use the PC?

Re: offline maps disappear with Zoom
lawrroc, for removal of an unnecessary map you can use any file manager established on your tablet.

Re: offline maps disappear with Zoom
Ok, I solved it, it was very simple. I continue with my questions. What's the limit in MB of a offline map? You can upload multiple maps at the same time? thanks

Re: offline maps disappear with Zoom
I've used 2Gb+ offline maps. so the limit is higher than that.
Note that you can't download very large offline maps with the built-in tool. You need to use the PC and other tools like MOBAC to do so, and then transfer them to the phone. The limit of the internal tool is set to 200 or 300Mb.
I think size of maps and loading time are not related. 2Gb load in less than 2s. thanks to the sqlite I guess.
What do you mean by uploading multiple maps ?

Re: offline maps disappear with Zoom
Thanks.
To "load more maps" I intend to open from my list more than one offline map at the same time. This would serve to "cover" an larger area of land with my offline maps.
