Device slows down after an hour
Hi Orux,
I use oruxmaps on my xperia x8, a very slow device with not much ram, with openandromaps mapfiles.
On start oruxmaps is very responsive, no lag in the menus and instant panning of the vector map, but
after at least an hour oruxmaps starts slowing down and, on panning, the map takes a lot to render. Also the menus have a noticeable lag.
I'm guessing this has to do with my choice to record gps points and ant+ data every second, this way after an hour there are too many points and the device slows down.
If this is the case, could you add an option like "max number of displayed points" in order to limit the visible trackpoints to a decent amount without slowing down the rendering?
Thank you
Fabrizio

Hi;
There is a limit, which comes from the old days, when I used the old htc dream.
It is strange that now you have that problem.
