a proposes on counteract GPS device accuracy
i use oruxmaps to log my track of running. the track is not well for a low GPS device accuracy, so i do some adjust work by a reference track. that is usefully improve the track's trueness.
i proposes oruxmaps could do some adjust work to counteract low GPS device accuracy automaticlly.
since this adjust work is interesting. and it is useful for ten-km-around-track which is the typical track of everyday physical exercise. it may be the usual usage of a handphone owner who download oruxmaps. such as i.
proposesd adjust work is as followed:
step 1:
a) adjust the Ele coordinate values by google earth data from internet. so did CorrectAltitude operation as.
step 2:
after appointting the reference track. process moving each point in current track:
a) get the most nearst point at reference track.
b) calculate out 2 pedal point at the 2 reference-track-segment which is contiguous to the nearst point.
c) move the current point to the mean of the 2 pedal point.
step 3:
process smoothing velocity each point in current track
a) calculate bessel equation for each three contiguous points at the current track.
b) move the middle point to make two velocity-value-of-the-segment become same.
after work above, the track looks well more than before.
and oruxmaps can do more better by process step 3 within smoothing four velocity-value-of-the-segments or more.
oruxmaps mistakes altitude value of the a long tunnel track at processing CorrectAltitude.

the contiguous velocity-value-of-the-segment may has contiguous values bigger than others sometime,
but it must not happend really taht there is a interim of big-amplitudes and short-cyclicity fluctuation.
the later could be smoothed usually.
otherwise there is no reference track, oruxmaps should do the adjust work without step 2. it is applied also.it should be split to 3 operations of the Tracks.
