I have created a Tutorial for Oruxmaps

Dear Orux community

I have created a tutorial to teach basics about GPS and hiking using Oruxmaps.
It is made of 38 slides.
I think you will like it, and it could be very useful for Oruxmaps beginners.

I would like to share it (for free) with this community !

How can I send it to you (pdf) ?

Hello, thank you for your work! I would upload it to any website that gives free storage. Then you will just need to share its link.
I think that Mega file sharing would do just fine.

Here in Germany that link is dead slow (if it is not my local problem).
Dropbox could solve the problem too.

Please try again. I tried to fix the link by using the PC browser (I posted from andrdoid at first). Mega should be fast as hell!

ok, it is fast now and I created an account.
But what now? (Sorry).
How can I get the file now?

Hem, it is up to the Original Poster to upload it!!! He requested for a mean to share it and I suggested Mega.
he should make a mega account to share files, it is not necessary for anybody downloading to register. sorry for misunderstanding.

(we could still use Mega to trade maps anyways ahah)

I was hoping someone from the oruxmaps website would simply give me an email address, so that i could send the pdf.
If they are happy with it, then they could make it available on the OM website.

If no one is interested on the OM website then i could try to upload it somewhere on the web.

Unfortunately this forum does not allow attachments in posts. That would had been the simplest option for a start. By the way, I'd love to read your stuff! Would you email it to me in the while? I am quite an advanced user but I can help reviewing it (I love OruxMaps and I really think that one of its few weak points is the lack of easy documentation. Like, guides, video tutorials, stuff like that). Perhaps I could even learn something new from your work

as far as I know, the website and the program itself are mostly a one-man project, and the developer does not browse the forum very often (he does, but not maniacally).

Uli, I would remove your e-mail address for the public forum and send it as a private message otherwise you're going to get bombarded with spam and who knows what. Also to protect your privacy.

Quoting that email address into your own post won't certainly help since he can't edit it...

You are right, but I used an email adress which is my "rubbish" adress  
I try to delete it anyway.
