Cannot save track in 3.2.7
I recorded a track. I see it on the map. I stopped its recording.
What's next? I cannot see it in Menu - Tracks.
I cannot export it - how?
What else can I do?
If I try to start recording a new track, it offers me three variants how to deal with the old track: delete, continue, etc.
Thus OruxMaps shows me the old track, OruxMaps knows about it, but cannot save it for me.

Are you sure it's not at the top of your list in menu/tracks? That's where I've always found the current track, listed by its date and time. Press on it, and I get a set of options, including exporting it as a GPX or KML. That exported file can be found in the tracks directory.

You can continue adding on to the track
You can create a new segment of the track--which is handy for looking at statistics.
You can start a new track.

The list Menu-Tracks is empty! It is completely empty.
No filter is applied, the list is empty: "No elements found".
Now I still want to save that track and I see it red when restarting the program back after a few time.
But I cannot do anything because the track list is empty.
In my /mnt/sdcard/oruxmaps/tracklogs I see three tracks I put there earlier and oruxmapstracks.db.
Its date seem to be in accordance with track creation date.
When I loaded the track as a route, Oruxmaps offered me to load a track exactly from this subdir, so I believe the folder is correct.

The only time I've seen something like that was when trying to access the track list while the device was connected by USB to the PC. There seemed to be some kind of contention for accessing the memory card. Other than that, the only thing I can think of is to record another track and see if the problem persists.

Hi;
You are right; OruxMaps can not work with tracks data base if the sd card is connected to the PC.

Please, send me the oruxmapstracks.db file --> oruxuro@gmail.com

Re: Cannot save track in 3.2.7
Of course SD Card is not connected to a PC: I can load any track as a route and so on.
I accidentaly rebooted the device and the track in red was gone. But I have two copies of oruxmaps.db. The one in ZIP is when the track in red was still visible.
If you could save that last track, I would be very thankful for this.
Sent the file.

The problem is solved - it seems the DB has become corrupted.
Thanks for the great app - I just saw the ability to donate the author, and did it.

Me too--with pleasure. The more I use OruxMaps, the more amazed I am by what Orux has accomplished--and I say that as the proud owner (over the years) of multiple Garmin GPSs, including a Dakota 10 and Oregon 450.

Re: Cannot save track in 3.2.7
I'm affraid that I encounter the same issue.
I used Oruxmaps with no issue until end of 2011. I have many tracks recorded, I usually send them in GPX format by email. By this way I load them in Endomodo. Today I did 50km and just back home I tried to do as usual, but get a message kind of "error while acceding to tracks..." after this each time I look in the recorded tracks, the list was empty. I tried to use the "backup" .db but same issue.
My phone is an ACER Liquid under 2.3.6. No change since last time I used (successfully) track export except update to last version with donate app.
Is my last track lost?
By the way Oruxmaps is really a wonderful app. Except this issue, it's a really good app with many many usefull functions and great UI.
