Micromaps Format
Would be nice if this app supported MicroMap format. Thousands of files clog up the SD card. Micromap format uses one single (large) file.

Micromap
Currently this Micromap format is being employed by an app called MapDroyd.
Probably the best thing to do would not be to adopt the MicroMap format, but instead simply make a new format that takes all the image tiles and puts them into a single large indexed data file, readable by OruxMaps.
Having one large file has many advantages:
1. It takes up less space since files smaller than 4kB will end up taking 4kB anyway due to format block size.
2. The new android versions do document scanning. For example you bring up PDF viewer and it goes through all the files on the SD card to look for PDFs. Well, if there are 20000 map tiles on the SD Card, it now takes forever for the PDF reader to go through it.
3. Easier to manage one file than a whole set of directories full of thousands of files.
Thanks for looking into it.
