Installation failed

Oruxmaps seems to be so fantastic for my Nexus One, using my lot of old Ozi-Maps. But:
Installation of oruxmapsdesktop failed. My pc has Win 7, 64-bit-Version and the latest version of Java. I downloaded OruxMapsDesktop v.1.3.6 (updated 07-12-2009) and doubleclicked on oruxmapsdesktop.bat. It seems that a window opened but only for may be 1/10 sec. And nothing had chanched. Any hints, what I made wrong?

Thanks for the super-fast answer. I got the response (translated) Java is incorrectly written or installed, although it is installed, latest version.
Have You any more ideas?

Hi; I think you have a problem with your jvm;

open a console; write: java -version

you should see something like:
java version "1.6.0_16"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_16-b01)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 14.2-b01, mixed mode, sharing)

If you have an error message, you have to verify/reinstall your jvm:

Thanks again for your answer. It seems to be a Java-problem. I am working on it and so far suceeded to convert a few Ozi-maps! Some show in Orux only a blue screen, but some really work! If I will manage all, it really is a great thing. Now I am searching an explanation for the icons on the maps, try to change the scale etc. A hard thing, because my english is not mutch better than my spanish. But I am confident it will work.
